COVID Relief

Actions Speak Louder provided food relief to hundreds of people in rural Uganda during lockdowns. My favorite thing about this opportunity is that our local Ugandan friends identified the families in the most need, purchased the food, put all the bags together, and personally delivered to each one. It was such a neat thing to see people ministering to their own people, which is what our ministry is really about. It is our heart to support and uplift our brothers and sisters in Uganda, giving them tools to minister to their own people, instead of coming in as missionaries doing all the work. We have set out to rethink the way much of ministry and foreign aide is accomplished. We hate that COVID caused so much turmoil, but we thank God for the opportunity to shine a light in the midst.
